...and my gosh does it look hard to fit!!!

anyone have any pictures, tips, anything for fitting a rear strut brace in the boot of an or MK6 Fiesta?

I pulled/unclipped the carpet covering the wheel arches in the boot and found the areas to drill through. They're marked with indentations I believe so that was handy and I also have the 'better' strut brace that goes up over and accross to the other side so you can still get your luggage in the boot lol
BUT the problem I'm facing is... once you get the bolts through, how do you get your hand behind to screw the nut on? Do the wheel arch area flaps above the wheel come off easily? ahhhh help please!

I've seen people have got rear strut braces on the owners club site but I can't access the topics, not a full member

Maybe I should/could ask JAM-Sport's advice while I'm there this weekend...

Thanks for reading and for any help

You can post them up on this thread if you want bud so people know what we are on about. I'm just confused about how to get my hands behind the panal above the wheel arch. I better take another look...

ah haaaa...

Thanks mate ...You see those holes on each side of the wheel arch about the size of a £2 coin. My strut brace fits over them apparently and over to the other side. No taking up boot space like that one.

I'll just have to give it a go lol cheers

my mate recently bought a Skoda VRS (saloon) and brought it to show me, cycles a lot like me and puts bike in boot. We looked in the boot and I said, what's that framework on the rear of the seats, so we folded them both down and the framework never moved

Oh dear, you'd have thought this is something he might have thought about before buying it.
