Ahh okay on the plus side to that gives me just the 2 options of 16s or 17s and I'll not bother considering 18s thanks for asking.

I wouldn't travel all that way myself for just a remap and airbox, if it was a bigger job I would consider it. On the other hand there's probably a few dealers that don't know much about doing it. Some people also use Mountune for servicing and stuff

I have only driven one on a short test drive so not too familiar, but would expect there to be a good shove from low down. They are torque limited in first and second gear as standard but I wouldn't expect it to feel slow, what are you used to drivin

I'm trying to decide whether to save money and time and go to my local dealer for the MP215 upgrade, or to go to Mountune HQ for the full-fat experience. Any thoughts?!

Oh I see makes sense now it's been explained to me would not have thought about that. If you wouldn't mind that would be helpful for me to make a final decision on which size to go for although now I have 3 sizes to think about.

I think it's more to do with the cushioning effect of the tyre sidewall. A bigger wheel will need lower profile tyres which have less flex, a smaller wheel with a big profile tyre will have more cushioning in the tyre. If you want to know more abou

Also mate can I ask why bigger would impact negatively is it due to weight of the wheels or the aerodynamics or something? I really wouldn't have thought alloy size would have any effect on the car. I get the tyre width part more tyre in contact with

Absolutely bang on with the 0-60 times and yeah I see your poi y with mods my bro not into the idea of spending more so I'm unlikely to find out data. But I'm with you I prefer the look of the st too. That's really interesting that you prefer honing

Ahh okay thanks for that mate very helpful. Mines only been lowered with lowering springs by 40mm so not coilovers etc but may consider smaller now. Definitely leave 18s out just to be safe

I know of a guy running 18" wheels from a mk1 Focus ST170 and they look really good. I don't remember him mentioning any issues but not sure exactly what combination of tyres, suspension etc he has. Going that large will probably affect the ride

The FR is a bit faster 0-60 on paper (is it 7.4s? vs 7.9s for ST) but being turbo my guess is it will be quicker in normal everyday driving and I expect could gain a lot more power from a few mods than an ST would, just a decat and remap for example.

Hi guys I was having a let's say heated debate with my bro the other day about his seat ibiza 1.4 fr edition and my st. Who's is best overall value for money for what you get etc. One thing he conceded was although his has a faster 0-60 on paper the

I've been doing a lot of looking at mods to my st150 lately and trying to make a list of order to get them done in. At the bottom of my list is alloys which I thought I'd not need to ask about on here it's just preference. But while looking at an St
