check your track rod mate, i hit a massive kerb like a few days after i first bought my car and i had bent my track rod and it was causing a similar problem that you describe. I got my mate whos a mechanic to bend it back straight again BUT a company will not to this for you as they could be liable if you were to have a serious accident caused by this fault. I would recommend getting it replaced which shouldn't cost you too much if you know where to go. Keep us updated.
