Well there was the recall about the wrong type of compressor having been used in the air-con unit so that may explain why it seems fairly weak. The other thing to bear in mind is that it is only a Fiesta (even if it does cost £14k!) and so the air-con is never likely to be the most powerful unit you'll ever find.

I find that mine is fine on all but the hottest of days, its always worth following the advice which Freestyle said about letting the hot air out first and then leaving the recirculation on for 10 minutes so as to only cool down the air inside the car. I find that seems to work a treat and you can then just leave the fan on the first setting and its more than cool enough.
