Having taken the ST to work over the past few days I can honestly say they go like snow like a plough!

I have "el cheepo" tyres on the front (what came with the car in Dec)but they have full tread. They took me through 10 inches of virgin snow on my untreated local roads and what was 14 inches at work, altho this had been mostly squished.

A combination of high gears, low revs and conservation of mumentum had been amazing.

And even though I have been doing handbrake turns and mucking around in the work car park I'm geting the most mpg I've seen from the car, so far 90 miles from about a quater of a tank.

The ST rocks - it's about the only time the flat Ford power delivery is really good!
