Ahhh, good point!
I was reading their FAQ and they make it clear that they will remove a site at the owners request, even restrospectively if a robot.txt is inserted so I guess they just play the 'helpful' card. Maybe though they can diss-associate themselves from the actual content but preserving the original URL?

PMSL - I've just though, probably half a billion pages are just old ebay auctions!
