There are mixed feelings about reliability issues. From what i have read alot of people think because it is cheap it will break. They comment without even using it. On tp a fair few people have had no problems at all. Will let you know if mine has any issues. It does eat batreries when used on full power Maybe 30 shots and its dead. For me that is perfectly acceptable as it produced quite alot of light
