as i said i have a tv with no hdmi port, only a dvi. its an old 42inch plasma with very limited connections (one dvi, 3 scart, audio L+R in)

so i have a hdmi to dvi cable, then on the hdmi end a splitter for my 2 hdmi devices so far, ps3 and decoder
sound is done via an av splitter that is plugged into the audio in connectors on my tv

thats my setup.
I've found what i need, either the av vga cable, s video av cable or a normal av cable without that darn lip. I'm gonna get a cable tonight

the two word reply i want to give would be banned by the site so i'll explain with a few more words...

I have a ps3, anything I want on a console will be bought for that.
currently the only xbox only game im interested in is Forza, i can't justify shelling out 200+ euros right now just to play Forza, so my friend lending me his xbox is great.
After 3 months if I still want to play Forza or any other xbox only games then maybe ill think about getting one.
