Myself and 2 mates of mine applied for an expedition next June that we weren't very hopeful of getting on. 4144 people applied and there are only 15 places available. Today I have had confirmation that all 3 of us.....ARE GOING UP EVEREST! We are doing this for the charity Child Hope and as PE teachers, we feel this is a fantastic charity to support. I'm not asking for your donations, but if you would like to sponsor me and help me raise £2500 for this charity please please please support the 3 of us. Our sponsor website will open in January and I know times are really hard, but if you can spare a couple of quid it will be very much appreciated. We are going up at least 22,000 feet and we are hoping to get to the summit (29,000 feet) but that all depends on fitness levels and weather conditions.

Those who know me will agree that I am mad enough to do this, but I am willing to do it for the children that are supported by this charity. I will post more details in the near future, now to get my socks and woolly hat ready
