Not nessecarily his sat-nav may take him to cambridge and down as a quicker route because if he joined the M25 from the M1 inbetween there and M11 is the busiest part of the M25 so dependable on traffic could be stuck or in congested traffic.

I vote M11 because he needs to come past it anyways he might as well join it from cambridge and then down at least skipping the busiest part of the M25.
