Mine sounds different on the outside and slightly different inside. I think it's better that way really not intrusive at all. Having said that though mine is changing all the time as I'm still running it in. I was sitting at traffic lights yesterday with my mum in the car and I kept blipping the throttle and there was a few pops and bangs and she thought it was broken! just gets better and better all the time!
