I'll expand what I mean by saying that I really like the new Focus ST and Fiesta ST, especially in Spirit Blue, they look astonishingly good.

To play devils advocate, was the current ST more special than the new ST?

Our ST looked quite similar to the Zetec S of the range, bar suspension, wheels, colour coding, and side skirts, whereas the new ST has different wheels, suspension, headlamps, different bodystyling to the Zetec S as well, so it's completely unique in that respect. We had a 2.0 Duratec, but the new ST is the first turbocharged Petrol Fiesta since the Fiesta RS Turbo. If it handles well - which with Ford's track record, I'd be surprised if it didn't - it's set to be an awesome package, costing much less than the current ST to insure and run.

I think it shows that Ford have been listening to their customers too...

black plastics, front ST badge, lowered, decent exhaust note... sounds eerily familiar...

It's a difficult one, though I won't be giving up my current ST for one just yet
