Just a quick head up that Admiral (and hence Elephant and Bell also) now require you to declare to them if you take a speed awareness course instead of taking points for a speeding offence. In one case here someone was told they had to give Elephant an extra £300 as a result of this:

If you go on a speed awareness course and are with another insurer it may be worth contacting them in case they have a similar policy so you don't risk finding you're uninsured in the event of an accident due to not informing them.
