Thanks for getting that write-up done.

Really enjoyed reading that about everything. All in all I think that it was a great few days, and a smashing way to start the Christmas holidays. I wouldn't worry too much about a few things going wrong on that Sunday. In the end things worked out fine, having a couple of problems finding a park initially worked out well, otherwise we wouldn't have found that nice place in Bidford by the canal where we managed to get some great shots and also relaxed. I think it was good there also for the kids to be able to play in the park next to it also.

Was great also at the Wacky, the meal was real nice, just liked the way that when they eventually offered us a table but not big enough we decided to make one oursleves using a spare one from the other side of the room. You have to be a little cheeky to get things sometimes though. If we hadn't got our way there had also been the other option of writing our names on the list of reservations which the waitress had temptingly left in front of us!!

Santa did do a great job there also, I think everyone loved him (other than the miserable people working there), escorted by Santas "little" helper!

Going back to Saturday now, I think everyone had a great time at the bowling. Its sometimes little things you remember most though, and one thing I will remember is during that second game when a ball got stuck near the bottom of Jack and Sarahs lane (they had lane guards up to help them). I think that first Bex tried rolling one slowly down that area to try and get it moved - it did get unstuck but then the one she'd put down stuck in the same place. Scott had a go then - and same result!! Eventually things did get sorted, but by the end of this I was, literally, on the floor rolling about laughing at it all.

After that we went outside, and seen the giant snowman outside of Star City. Unfortunately, I hadn't thought to take my camera with me so didn't get a picture, but it was great, loved it and so did the kids.

Just like to end with a few words of thanks. Thanks to: Scott for organising the event in the first place - I know how much work it took to do, and was well worth the effort; Micky, Stuart and Cassie for taking the time to travel up quite some distance - was great to see you all again; Tony and Matt for coming to one of our meets for the first time - I know that it can be a step into the unknown but I hope that we made you feel welcome, and I'm sure that you enjoyed it enough to come again, hopefully finally finally with your ST next time Matt ; Vicky and James from the STOC - was great to see yous join us and I know that you both had a great time also; Kevin, Julie and Sarah for really getting into the spirit of things and being great sports - just hope that Julie doesn't regret me letting Kev hear my exhaust now! ; Roy for coming along and joining us on Sunday and for once again giving me somewhere to stay for a few nights whilst I was down, really appreciate that; and last but definitely not least to Becky and Jack - was wonderful to see you both again.

Hope to see you all again, along with some others maybe in April!
