Have to side with you on this one m8... I remember earlier in another forum someone mentioned that the ST seemed to stall easily from pull away. When I just got my Zetec I had the same problem.

If you let it go below 900 rpm it used to die immediately. Now it's got 22000 km's (about 13670 miles)on and I can let it drop below 500 rpm and it still picks up without a problem.
