At the end of the day its your choice. I would personally never joint own a car with my mother, or any other family member. Id rather get an older one and have it to use when I wanted.

Ford priveledge is only available to people who's family have connection to ford or work for a ford owned company (where I beliebe ford have to have at least a 45% share)

As far as insurance goes then you'll need to get quotes yourself as I'm not an insurance broker.

For how much you'll get one for that depends on what sort of deal you can strike with a dealer.

Zenic... dude!

Please don't take it personally but I'd like to make a few suggestions regarding your posts.

First of all what is "cliamte". Sure nobody really minds a few spelling mistakes here and there but your posts are always full of them to the point that it makes reading difficult, so please make an effort, at least for the post title...

Then you are asking "How much can I get an 07 plate for?" An 07 plate what ?!? Be more specific.

You ask how much to expect to pay for fully comp. How can you expect anyone to know the answer to this? Does anyone in the forum know your mum and her motoring insurance history? Be realistic mate... no one here can possibly answer that question... you have to ask an insurance company.

Lastly, please choose the posting section more carefully... All your posts are initiated in the "General Fiesta ST Discussion" section... I have been moving many of them (not all as some are justified in this section) to "Off Topic" but it would be cool if they have nothing to do with ST's to post them directly in "Off Topic".

Thanks for listening,
Nick

As Nick has said mate, some of the questions are either not answerable by people on the site, or are possibly just as easy for you to find out yourself?

You have the net mate and everything is out there you could ever need to know, car prices are very easy to find out, check a few dealers out online and then have a look at the discount sites which some of us have bought through, like newregcars, allbrandsnew, broadspeed, have a look and compare the prices, I am sure you will find a good deal

I can understand how people are getting a little irritated with your car selection Kev. One minute you are getting a cheap car for £1-2k and the next you’re getting a new 07 plate car.

I think you need to sit down and think this through, find out all the details you need, work out your finances and how you are going to work things. Once all that has been completed, come back on the forum and post what ever information you have and what you are going to do. People then will have the time and patience to help you out.

If you ever got to the stage that you was 100% going to order a car and pay for it at that time, I would come and help you out and provide quite a bit of power in negotiating the price and what added extras you could have.

I personally think having spelling and grammar problem cannot be helped but you can be more careful in what you type, proof read your text before posting (I do that, I guess a lot of others do also). If you are still in doubt, copy the whole text into Microsoft Word which will automatically spell and grammar check it. It may still not be perfect, but it will help.

The new plates will be 57 as 07 is already out.

If you wanted a 57 plate i'd order it now as you will have to wait a month or so until it is made and delivered anyway.

I suggest you go to the garage and get ordering.
