it all depends on the area you are in. there are some really nice parts of teesside, in middlesbrough, stockton, yarm, billingham and hartlepool. but there are some rough parts too. but im sure your car would be fine

End of the day it's often bad luck when something happens. There's probably nowhere in the UK (or elsewhere) which doesn't have a dodgey area, or a dodgey area within a mile or two of it. You can only try and keep your car in the best place available to you. Even then, things can still happen.

Some stupid woman opened her door into my car the other day, I didn't realise until I got back to the office - I knew she looked suss too

yeah just have to try and keep an eye out!

Well the damage wasn't as bad as it could have been. There was a vertical white line down the door, but it appears to have only dented where the horizontal line is along the door a few inches down from the window. Still, I don't think it will be easy to fix Think I will have to leave it for now.

Yeah it's ridiculous isn't it. I was always careful with things like opening my door, even when I had a clapped out old car. No respect is there

If I found her I would love to, but little chance of that now!

I was just going to take a picture but it's reflecting off badly. Its right in the middle of the door, at about the same level as the door handle. As I said it's on the bit where the door "sticks out" slightly because it changes angle by about 45 degrees.. oh well I will have to try and get it sorted if it might be cheap!

well you could just as easy do it yourself and then you only have to get it painted. just some filler and some fine sand paper is what you need.

ah the dent isn't quite big enough I wouldn't have thought, think I will leave it for now! unless I see a professional it'd probably look worse if I did it myself!
