is there any reason why the charging plug for my new nintendo ds lite will not fit into any socket in my house/ the top pin is plastic and too big. what am i doing wrong??

Did you buy it from ebay? Could it be imported from another country which has different plugs? If this is the case surely you can buy adaptors but before you plug it in, check the voltage range it takes.

no i dont think its a cover and i bought it in Game, so its definately from this country.
