That's not a bad price at Pumabuild. Would look better than painted ones too. I'm sorely tempted, only problem is which colour to go for? I think red would look best on my red car.

Yeah those puma build ones don't look bad and the price seems fair, trouble for me is them being in the midlands. I can't really drive my car up there and leave it for three days and I'm not going to take them off my car and send them up, shame. I might contact them and see if they know of anyone down in london that might do them. What colour is your car parksey.

Where are you getting yours done pink rinse, any chance of some photos and a review afterwards to let us know what you think of them as I know you live closer to me and it could be an option.

I might just get some of the paint and DIY it. I use my car pretty much every day for work and stuff so couldn't really do without it for that long.

That said, I could try driving it without the brakes for 3 days...

That Brembo kit is sweet though, anyone know how much it costs?

Yes, sorry what a blind, brain dead retard, I obviously didn't read enough. I will be using my car for commuting as well so may have to go the DIY route. Interested in seeing what Pinkrinse's experiences are like though.

Waiting for the car to arrive and I'm already totalling up spending more money on calipers and mats! pride myself on trying to saving the last penny in the purchase price but will then spend more making it just right. I've got a real hard on for getting these calipers painted red, to the point of wanting to do it within a month of getting the car. I just think it will look great. Have to be a sunny day though as I don't have a garage.

Hey spoon! I'm getting mine done near Ladywell!! *lol* Couldnt be a bit further away could it?? As I drive into Brixton every so often (to do with work) I drive past this wheel & tyre place so I popped in and after some puppy dog eyes (they started off saying they couldnt fit me in this week *heh*) they're doing it Friday morning. Gotta drop her in at 9am (*cry*) and apparently she'll be ready about 3-4 hours later. I'll post pics and a review (with the company's details) when I get her back.

Managed to spot a black ST with white side stripes in a road just down from the tyre place *heh* I'm getting good at this!!

Hey Pink how did you know to ask in there. Do they then take all the calipers off, paint them and put them back on. Do you provide the paint? as it seems a lot of work for just £35. The paint links that I posted further up talked about the paint taking about 12 hours to properly dry, will they be ready then in 3-4 hours. sorry to ask so many questions.

I thought to ask them because you could see they sold a ton of alloys and had a lot of nice looking modified cars in there being worked on *lol* He is taking the wheels off but not the calipers...

Hmmm... any opinions would be appreciated by those of you out there "in the know" about these things... It sounded bloody cheap when I went in and I even rang back to check it was £35 all together and not per caliper *lol* ... Hmmmm... I'm worried now

B*gger it... As long as it looks ok for FITP and they dont get paint everywhere, I can always get it done "properly" elsewhere *lol*

Sorry hun, didn't mean to cause anxiety. It's just the paint seems to cost £17.50-£20.00 on it's own but maybe it's a regular and easy job for them and thats why it's so cheap. Just check that what temp the paint is resistant to. The two ones above were 900-950F. I'm sure they'll be fine.

I'd love to do but I think it could take an age and be a real phaff taking off the wheels one by one, masking up and then handpainting, waiting for it to dry and everything else. Still want it done and still think it will look great though.

What do you guys think about red calipers on a blue car? I'm undecided but think I will probably paint them either blue or red in the near future.
