Yes havin second thoughts bout new car ive just bought, i test drove St 3 times few month back but in the end, plumped for 3 dr, 1.8tdci focus..mainly as my daily commute is nealy 50miles a day.. But every time i see an ST i still want one!lol although my focus is far from slow...depends on the fuel im savin as to weather i go for quick trade in and get an ST!

i wouldn't recommend an ST unless your willing to fill up every few days driving those miles mate. It does drink fuel but is a very nice car to drive, has it's good points and bad points. Why not go for the Fiesta Zetec-S TDi, its pratically the same shape as an ST but without sidekirts and smaller rims and you can get it colour coded if needed also. My mate has one, very nice motors.

Wouldnt go for the zetec s, the focus has sport pack on it so doesnt look half bad....and with the extra space and power is far more car than zetec s is...however..the ST is just bit different..not decided yet!Lol

Go for it id say, I do about 60-80 miles per day and i love it to bits. Usually fill up once per 4 days, sometimes 5 if i am lucky but mostly not. Whats money for if not to spend and have fun with?

Your doin well??? im filling up once a week..bout £40 in my focus?? ok is new car, and will need running in but thats not great....wot readout do u get in ur STs?? mines sitting at bout 40mpg and has settled there really...was hoping for better.

Lol stop crying u lot,my focus ST makes your fiestas look like they are sipping the petrol through a straw try doing 17mpg and then moan about fuel (although i do have a big smile on my face driving my focus)

17mpg? hmm u must be doing 100mph+ most the time then to be doing that in a focus ST...

No mate thats what it does around standard roads,goes upto anything between 22-30mpg on motorway runs but id say 25mpg is its average.

so similar to the fiesta then coz my average is around that too, its not a ford engine so fuel consumption is better in general, the fact its a bigger engine with a turbo attached to it means it obviously would drink more/if not the same as the fezzy st

My 1.8 turbo diesal is spec to do bout 54 tho?? think ford are havin a bit of a chuckle there!!!
