Hi All
I no there are a few similar tyre questions on here, but I’m thinking of changing my tyres because of constant wheel spinning when racing off the lights. I don’t given have to give it full power and it will still wheel spin and it’s not like I’m pulling out the clutch to quick either.
So what can you recommend, I want something that’s good in the wet as well as in the dry….
Many thanks people!!!

Toyo Proxes T1-R are the most recommended on this site for the They are great tyres. P.s I'd change your type to "pulling off the lights" as mr plod ![](/images/graemlins/busted.gif) view these sites.

I've got got a set of Avon ZZ3's and they're far better in the wet than the PZeros.
I've not been pushing it and won't until they're scuffed up a bit, but all I can say is the little Fez feels like it has a spring back in her step. It feels more nimble without being twitchy and I'm a lot more confident in the corners again.
The PZeros were fine when new, but I get the feeling that they faded/degraded with miles and the tred pattern didn't favour wet weather.
Also..... the ZZ3's have kerb protection and were the cheapest tyre I could find at £70 a corner, fitted and balanced. It will be interesting to see how they hold up with increased miles.

All depends on where you go. I paid £89.99 + VAT each for mine, this includes balancing and tracking at a place called SuperTyres in Maldon. But i think i got discount because i put it on the company account ![](/images/graemlins/snigger.gif)

After reading all the reports I'm going for the Toyo's. Will be having them fitted Friday (18/01) at Wootton tyres and exhausts, Northampton. Cost £70 each all in.
Rob.
