when I was running my engine in I was doing about 350 per tank on the focus which is pretty good going

Then again, I was driving like an old grannies tortoise

Impressive hey guys? :-)

Pretty proud I managed that. I know I could of hit 400 on that tank though!

I actually got my calculations wrong. It's 45.27MPG

£52.07 @ £1.379 = 37.76L there was at least another 5 litres in there. More then a gallon so another 45 miles was possible?!

So after my last challenge. I replaced the spark plugs with some brand new ones to factory spec

I did my trip to pick up my friend, drive to FITP and return my friend home after the show.

One mile before he got home I filled the ST up, dropped him off, grabbed my stuff and headed home, 93 miles later I was at the closest petrol station to home so topped the tank off so I wouldn't need to top it up for the rest of the month.

To my amazement I calculated I have done 59.16mpg!
550miles is achievable on one tank! 60+mpg is also avilable.

Bear in mind, I wasn't trying for this, I was taking a steady slow drive back and again it wasn't perfect as a run.
