Yes think everybody with a ST has had this problem, best thing to do is either take it back and get them to sort it or just try spraying some wd40 on it or putting some grease on it , no matter wot you do you will prob always have it, try doing wot i do just turn your music up really loud

If it's greased properly then it should be ok. I had the squeaky clutch initially, got the dealer to sort it out after 1500 miles, and it's been fine ever since.

Thanks... whats the best thing to do it with... i'm pretty sure they just put WD40 on it the last few times and it's done... well... bugger all really... only lasted a few months.

WD40 will shut it up but only for a few days till it drys out.
I'd recommend spray grease or motorcycle spray chain lube as it lasts ages, I use this on my bonnet release mechanism.

Guess it depends what you're after Jimmy but generally if you want car audio you are much better off buying from the net.
Halfords sometimes have reasonable deals on alloys and occasionally on the odd item or two like sat nav but it is mainly overpriced! Can't think of anything else they sell which someone would want!
