Yup yup, put your name down now.

I'm trying to find out information now as when we need to book our stand by, as the organisers do seem to be a bit slower off the mark than they have been in the past. As soon as I hear anything off them then I'll let everyone know.

Hey everyone

I've just heard back from the organisers of FITP now, and they've told me that their deadline for receiving stand applications in the 25th of April. If we don't get our application in by then, then we won't get a stand.

Therefore, I am setting a deadline for everyone of Saturday 12th of April for everyone to decide if they are coming and for payment to be arranged. This will enable me to sort everything out in plenty of time. After this date then I may still be able to get extra tickets, but I can no longer guarantee it.

Just to remind everyone payment is £6 per car - and that is irrespective of how many people you're bringing with you.

Thanks all
Chris

Is it too late to get a ticket ?

Am i correct in thinking you need one ticket for one car and it doesnt matter how many people you bring ?

Dan.

No it's not too late at all. The deadline the 12th of April, and I'll PM everyone nearer to then to arrange payments.

You are correct that it's one ticket per car, no matter how many passengers.

Indeed you are correct Dan... I list the passangers down, simply to know the numbers that are coming. On the day, it can get quite confusing who is who if you don't have a basic idea of who is attending

It will be £10 and the payment will be required any time in the next couple of weeks... hardly going to break the bank

Thanks Bradders

It is a one day event yes, although we will be arriving there quite early - last year I think it was something like half past eight? With regards to meeting up, then we'll sort that out nearer the time. Last year a load of us stopped in the Birmingham area on the Saturday and then convoyed together. We then met up with everyone else who'd either stopped nearer the venue or had come on the day, and picked them up at a location on the way to Huntingdon. We'll be doing something similar this year, but we'll get that sorted nearer the time, once we know exactly who's coming and from where.

Doing it that way rather than all just turning up has a couple of advantages. Firstly we can dish out the tickets in person, rather than going through the hassle of posting them all out and risking them getting lost. Secondly, when you get something like this:

then I'm sure you'll agree how brilliant it looks.

Depends how much driving you want to do in one day.

I know Chris C will be staying in the area as he has to come from cumbria.

Last year at rockingham (different show) i went there and back in one day. Just over 400 mile round trip, and totaled about 8 hours driving
