Err, I wouldn't exactly say we the sun was shining all day kev, but you're right it did stop bucketting down as soon as we'd got it up and did stay dry for the rest of the day. Thinking about it, it's maybe a curse of the first day of the summer event. Last year we obviously had it emptying down on the morning of the RSOC Day, just a couple of weeks after we'd been baked in sunshine at Ford Fair. The year before we had the horendous day at Castle Combe for the Rally Day. First thing in the morninbg it had seemed as though it was going to quite nice, so we turned up in t-shits and shorts, and then the heavens promptly opened and we got drenched, even when trying to hide under some trees. It then dried up, we went back to the cars and got changed - and then a few hours later down came the rain again!! We tried to hide in a building site to shelter, until security came and threw us out. Oh, and poor Micky almost didn't get his car out of the muddy fields. Finally, going way back now. Back in 2005 at the summer event in the Cotwolds, my first ever memory of a meet is arriving at the campsite and seeing this drowned rat in a Villa shirt coming over to say hello to me, helping to put the tent up, and then realising that we'd left the flysheet oustide in the rain to get soaked. All three times though, we've had really nice weather afterwards though. I'm prepared to have it pouring down heading to Dover and possibly going through France if it means that we get baked in sunshine for the rest of the summer meet this year!

dontpannic: While I'm here (it's been a while), looks like my account is FUBAR... can't post anywhere, can't view user profiles etc, any chance someone can restore my access at all?
kenny: I haven’t got the power so must of been Chris or Scott
kenny: tried ebay etc, you can the gearbox so cheap now loads on ebay ]
JimboSlice: anyone know where i can get a gearbox filler plug? lol threads on mine are beyond knackered!
kenny: Do you mean the plug or the actual bolt with the thread on it
kenny: Thread on eBay starting at £6 to £18 the plugs 18mm 3 for £2.95 👍
Tford: Anyone know how to sort out front bumper sag on Mk7 st
kenny: There is a few YouTube vids which should show you how to lift the bumper back up
Brabbit79: Done my 1st track day today in my 2006 St150, ii was topping oil up 500ml ever 10 laps give and take. No leaks or blue smoke. Anyone else had this.
Kaxe: I hope you are all doing well!
kenny: hows the mk3 rs mate
_Jimmy_: @Brabbit79 it's probably oil passing the piston rings at high revs, used to happen with mine too but normal driving it wouldn't use much oil at all
kenny: seems there is a data base error on the forum
Scotty: @Kenny - Can you see the topic threads again now please?
DAVE T ST: Hi, All, I was thinking about Kev today so thought I'd pop back to see how you all are
ChrisCumbria: Hi Dave, I'm keeping well thanks. Kevin will always be in our hearts.
Brabbit79: @ _Jimmy_: Hi Jimmy, sorry not been on here for a while. Only just seen your reply, thank you. I thought that might be the case.
