To give you an idea how much you would get for it in parts not much. The Parts that silverstone had, Seats wheels exhausts etc they got around 6k for the whole lot, This was about 10 cars worth of spares
Would you really want any bits off a car that has been impacted that heavily?
The seats fixings will be bent or weakened and all external parts totally shot. The structure of the car will be bent and out of shape and the engine might well have been impacted and knocked into other components.
I wouldn't even go near a car like this... £2000 is probably the value but in my view it's useless.
It looks good enough for what I intend to do with it, I'm in no rush to buy, at £2k worth a look, at £4.3k not much point.

If you cut it back to the chassis you might find that it is useable and only structural damage... it's impossible to tell by looking at a picture such as this... you'd need to get underneath to see.
Give him a pm and offer 2k... he might be fed up of it and let it go.
