Well i drove past the dealership after 5 a side tonight and they have knocked it down from £9990 to £9690 now. Always good news. Although im concerened that its been there for a few weeks now.

I wouldn't be concerned about it being there for a few weeks. Should be easy enough for you to get it down to £9.5k now, maybe less, you never know! Make the move asap now!! Good luck!!

my concern is the sea air, i looked at the focus st500 there the other week, well you have to dream and the amount of rust on the discs, on top of that you could feel the grime on the bonnet and it felt rough like out car used to when left it at the ferry port overnight

also forgot to say how did you treat it when you had it, did you drive as a new car or a 2litre 150hp beast.

Yeah I treated it well. I bought it tax free when I was over in Germany with the Forces (from the same garage it's for sale in). It was run in properly and never had any faults with it. It was never involved in any accidents of prangs of any kind and served me well for the year I had it. The only reason I sold it was to switch to an oil burner to save on he tax and fuel costs.

If they have dropped it to £9600 that's a steal with all the options it has on it.
If someone does enquire about say that Ben Smyth (me obviously ) recommended the garage to them. You never know, you may get a better deal if they know I've recommended you. After all I've bought 6 new cars from them in 5 years.

hi thanks for the advice, they said that for the current price 9989 they would put 6 months tax, side strips and parking sensors. a full tamk of fuel and the alloy refurbished is still open to negoiation

they said with the service it has just had and general costs per car they had to pay it will owe them just over 9.500

very tempted

Got for it mate, it served me well over the year I had it and it's a great car. Shame that I had to change to a diesel purely for running costs.

PMd you by the way.
