I've had yet another part stolen from my ST, I left the car on the street for about 2 hours and someone has stolen my spoiler.

I was just after some advice as to what i would be needing to replace it. I will obviously be needing a new spoiler but I don't know what is used to fix it to the car, whoever took it left what looks like two little silver bolts. I've attached some pictures in case anyone knows.

Thanks!

Laura

There doesn't look like any damage which is good... it's very frustrating that they took your spoiler but they obviously knew what they were doing and will have done it very quickly... it could happen anywhere.

It will probably be on E-bay next week

It attaches to the silver attachments and then the pads hold it down... you'll need new pads.

Really sorry to hear of your spoiler getting stolen, complete idiots out there unfortunately.
I agree with Strick, the alarm wouldn't have stopped them. They obviously did know what they were doing to get it off quickly and with no damage.

They would have done it so quick i bet people wouldn't even have got out of there arm chairs to have a look why the car alarm is going off before they were out of sight tbh.

Yes it's unfortunate, but if you have a garage it is certainly worth getting her away to mitigate risks.
Rather than funding other potential thieves on ebay, it may be worth a look at in a scrap yard, you may get it in the correct colour then and for a reasonable price.

Best of luck

If you get a new spoiler from ford it will come primered only, you will need to get it sprayed.

The silver bolts are attatched to the spoiler, they have ripped them off to remove it. The new spoiler will have these fitted to it.
The adhesive pad will also come with the spoiler.

Sorry to hear that, I hope you get it sorted soon.

Depending on what type of cliffords alarm you get, you can get alarms that go off if anyone touches ur bodywork and then it send you a text so gives them 30seconds or less to get away. Works wonders
