Walk away and buy mine instead! No way did he pay anything over £8000 max according to what I've been offered as a part ex.

Have a look in the lot if you want a better deal

Under 10k is unlikely I think. More like £11k. Wait until new model is out and Ford will be chucking them out tho'.

Whatever you pay, as soon as you walk out the garage, you're losing money. Main dealers prices incl second hand are going to be high. I paid £9000 only 3 months ago from a Ford main dealer and will be lucky to get £7750 now.

My advice- go for the newest/secondhand private sale you can afford and use your judgement on who's selling. You'll save yourself about £1500-£2000 and know where the car has come from. ST is great though so worth then effort

As others have said that is really expensive, deffo shop about as also stated, i know what its like when you want to buy a car and you know what you want, dont go for the first one that you comes across, shop around it will be worth it.

Agree with Dave and the guy's comments here, the ST is very soon to become an out of production model so the prices really should start falling soon. Dealers will be putting 'sale' banners and all sorts of stuff to get rid.

This will have a knock on effectin the private market but not perhaps as much as on the forecourt.

Agree with u all as the ST is going to be stop soon that mean u should be able to have a great deal for one as buyers are more likely to wait for the new model

Shop around, if you have 2 Ford dealers within your area then see what they can offer.

The most i would pay for a new ST now would be £11,500.
