In theory, as the suspension moves through its travel, the wheels change their toe and camber angle. I'm not sure how the ST is set up, my on my adio control car you can really see the difference - as the nose dives, the camber becomes more +ve and the wheels start to toe in.
In theory, this brings better stability in breaking but my car goes all over the place!
When you lower the car, you're sitting further down the suspension travel at any given time - I don't know if it will make a difference, but it can't hurt to check it out?
