alot of money! should check first, but here most of us think its not a good idea for a 18years old to hold a fast car

But insurance companies don't see it that way, because of your age they see you as a high risk.

I expect it will be pricey. I have 5 years ncb and got some quotes over £1k!

Best bet is to type your details in for one on some of the insurance sites.

It will be insurable, but will cost you bucks mate!

ha ha mate i am 20 2ncb have a 57 plate ST and i pay £1863 rang insurance companies today as mine is coming up for renewal and admiral quated me £2012 which is more than it was thihs year,
expect to pay anything from £2500-£4000

we had another lad who was your age and he was gonna pay out just over £4000 for insurance it it ridiculous and what is the point in spending all that money to then just bump and scrape it

not having a go mate just dont want you waisting all that money and then to find out that you have crashed, killed someone or evan yourself, the ST is stupidly quick and with you only being 18 you are still learning and it takes time to be able to control such a fast cat

Like the others have said, expect to pay a fair few thousand for it. I'm 23, 5 years NCB, clean licence and with direct line mine is just over £500.

what is wrong with 30mpg lol , my ST does 23mpg drinks like mad , dont matter what car you have mate just wait a little while longer ,

where abouts you from?
should come down to some meets when they are arranged
ill ley you sit in it lol ha ha ha

if your sick of your car then get another one , i used to have a 106 quicksilver that was great light so it was quick as anything and also it was only a 1.4

It will cost you A LOT of money to insure. I'd get some quotes, but I expect it will be very pricey. You sound sensible, but as has been said insurance companies won't see it that way. It may be worth upgrading to a car halfway between your Corsa and the , get a little more experience and also more no-claims, and then get one in a couple of years time.

30 MPG , did i mention its only a 1.2 L ! drinks and doesnt even move lol

i would sell it , but its effort and hardly worth it to get summat like a 1.4
