So picked it up on Saturday and all is good, apart from the fact is definitley pulling to the left. I have tried it on a variety of roads and every time it still pulls left. Will ring dealer today and get them to sort it, but any idea what it is? Simple case of sorting out the tracking?

I should imagine so, quite a few people on this forum have reported the same issue. Just get it booked in and I'm sure it will get sorted out for ya!

Got it booked in for 10am on Friday. Will i be ok driving it for rest of the week with it as it is or will it be causing damage to the tyres etc? Friday is earliest i could get in.

I've never taken the car to Ford to have the tracking done, I always take it to a garage...ATS or someone like that. There's always a waiting time for Ford so I don't mind spending a small amount of cash on getting the tracking done there and then.

Just be sure you don't cover a lot of miles in the time between now and Friday, as you'll be surprised how much off-set tracking will damage your tyres.

Hi mate, it could well be the tracking. However, given that it's a new car, it could be the tyres haven't worn in. I seem to remember mine pulled a lot and followed the road at times when it was brand new.. It seemed to go away after a couple of hundred miles. Still it may be worth dropping in just in case it is the tracking.

Ah right, I forgot it wasn't brand new mate. It is most likely the tracking then. Best to take it in as soon as possible, but I really don't think 100 miles will make a huge difference, depending on how far out it is! Check the inside and outside of the tyre for uneven wear, that should indicate to you whether it's a recent incident or not and whether it may have a big impact on the life of the tyre

Have you tried taking it on different types of roads? I know this sounds a bit common but because of the low profile tyres, the ST likes to sit in the ruts in the road and its very noticable at first, takes a while getting used to. I would take it to a tyre garage rather than ford to get them to check the tracking.

Ah well i booked in with service place at Ford now so will see what they say. Surely they will know whats wrong with it when they take a look? and if its tracking (which i suspect it is) then just sort it out.....

you'd think wouldn't you...
I think you will find varying views here on that, I haven't had too much bother from mine the two times I have been to my local. Some people have had a nightmare time!

I'm sure it will be fine though, probably help if you point out exactly where the problem is or they may get confused
