Well took it in today, switched the wheels on the front from one side to other and sorted the tracking. Appears to be better although at times still seems to go left a bit, is this just the camber of the road?

It could be, the ST does have a tendency to follow the road rather than where you point it. I find mine has improved since binning the p zeros on the front.

agree with JJST the ST tend to follow the road so if there bumps or hole the car will follow it thats why u need ur two hands on the steering wheel

Is this you'r first Fiesta ST? First thing i thought was "this is pulling to the left alot" specially on certain roads or when going under 30mph. Turns out that if you hit even small ruts in the road that because of the heavier steering it feels it "pulls" the wheel.
Drive you'r ST for a few weeks then try and drive another small car like a 206 or polo or clio and the steering feels so light you'll be all over the place ! lol

I had the same problem, had it tracked twice, wheels changed around, and ford even replaced my front left alloy but did not solve the problem!! Took it then to my local family run garage, they fixed it within 5mins running perfect now. Tuurns out my air pressures where all to pot.. More air in the drivers front tyre than needed and less than needed in the passenger side. Causing the left drift. Please check these out before paying any money out it might save you time and money.

I've not had my fez ST for a while now as i changed to a focus ST last year but for the 12mths i had the fiesta it would tend to pull to left, sometimes it would even yank the steering wheel to the left.
I took it into ford and they had an engineer play with it for about 2 hrs and he came back with no problems, tracking spot on,wheels balanced fine etc etc.I wasn't happy with this and demanded an explanation as to why it would sometimes almost pull out my hand towards the left and other times drift.
The answer i got is similiar to a few given here, the fez is a short wheelbased car with fat low profile tyres on and because the car isnt all that wide it can't sit in the unseen grooves worn into every road surface you drive on and so the fat low pros sit one side of the ruts or the other,we all tend to drive more to the left side of centre so the tyres are constantly catching the ruts and being pushed over to the left.
Thats the story i was given from ford, dunno how true it was because i bought the big brother focus and haven't looked back since (apart from the fuel, its going to get to a point soon where ill need a fuel docking hose like the fighter planes so i can be fuelled on the move by a tanker in front of me).

This is entirely true and what also adds to the problem is that the track on the rear axle is narrower than the front axle so it seems like the axles are always fighting each other for road position.

I'd like to hear from people who have fitted the Racing Puma rear spacers on their STs to see what (if any) difference they have made.

I will let you know if it makes any difference as i have some in my garage, along with eibach springs and my old K&N 57i. Now all i need is my new ST to fit them to!

STrange's explanation would also explain why mine will often pull to the right, (i drive in europe a lot)

My Fez swings both ways!
