i suppose it is a good thing stayin at same mileage!!
i really dont want to get rid as i have become quite attatched to her, more than any car i have ever had! but work is really tight and shows no sign of improving so depending how bad it gets it may result in the car going
im not sure but i dont think using high octane does anything better for the car. pretty sure its set up for regular unleaded. i use supermarket stuff and it runs fine, never had a problem.

Howick, Stop using shell V-Power. The ECU isn't mapped for it and the car runs too rich on it.

Go back to normal but good unleaded (shell, BP) and you will find your MPG will go back up in a couple of weeks.

Also, make sure you arent getting hot air sucked into your K&N as that doesn't help.

Dave is right... i used to use Optimax but it didn't make any different at all... I just use normal Shell now which is fine

To get more fuel consumption... take your foot off the gas

To get more performance... put your foot back on the gas

This pretty much is all you need to know.

Let us know how you are getting on in a couple of weeks once the car's got used to normal UL.
You may have a problem with the K&N fitting (It may be leaking)or dirty.

The Magnecour leads do definately help as they get a better quality current to the spark plugs.

Mine will be available when the car has gone back - see the lot
