Noticed a couple of small rust coloured marks on the roof of my car. No matter how had i wash they wont come off. Surely not rust? anyone any ideas? i know there was a post a while ago with someone mentioning a similar thing? Taking my car in tomorrow to get my plate switched over, wondering whether i should mention it to the dealer or if it would simply polish out?

you can mention it but they will tell you its caused by "fallout" thats whats in the air when the cars parked up,maybee when your st was waiting to be shipped to england or infact when it got hear and was parked up in the compound somewhere or infact at the dealership itself, reason being thats what i was told as the wifes white st had this problem some time back, you really need a good quality car shampoo and car wax i reccomend auto glym or indeed megires thats also good, halfords sell it oh and you will also need some serious elbow grease to shift those little speckles of rust like pin prick things.....good luck.
