I didnt get a look at the fluid, but when you begin to get loud whirring noises from the pump, dont leave it several weeks like I did, get it looked at straight away!

my steering sometimes gets heavy when turning at a slow speed normally reversing in parking spaces or pulling on my drive way its like the power steering stops working. does anyone else have this problem ?

Well I've had it looked at by a trsusted ex Ford tech and there's absolutely nothing wrong with the steering rack on my car so hey ho!
