so...who has points on there licence or who has??

i personally have 3 points for an sp30....dec 06
caught for 83 in a 60.

ps i dont want this topic to become a slagging off session for peoples mistakes, people make mistakes and they are punished, thanks

Well i have no points on my licence and i dont realy want any yet because of me just been passed a year lol
by the way how many years is it before the licence points go up to 12 instead of 6??

I got 3 points SP30 and £60 fine in Feb 06. I contest it wasn't my fault I got frustrated with someone doing literally 20mph in a 50 zone and they were in the outside lane!! I undertook them (perfectly safely) it wasn't a dangerous undertaking manouvere and the old bill saw somehow and chased me and gave me the points. I didn't bother arguing

Agreed, be carefull peeps.
I'm an old 'un now with some experience, but when i was your ages i had an RS2000, a mad car to have when i was 19.

Within one month of having it i was done TWICE for speeding, 41 in a 30, and 43 in a 30. It then progressed , Drink driving, got a 15 month ban and 10 points. I kept the car for the 15 months and as soon as i got my licence back got done for careless driving and a further 3 month ban for knocking someone over, (he was o.k because he was a little drunk).

It took years for an insurance company to stop laughing when trying to insure an Austin Metro 1.0L.

I learnt the hard way, you don't have to.

6 points for driving an uninsured vehicle (IN10) and a £300 fine. i DID have insurance on my cavalier but not on the vectra i had just bought and was taking home to change the insurance over. s**t happens.
