Well I thought I’d start a new thread and make it a bit more official! The West Yorkshire meet will take place on Wednesday 14 May 2008. Details are below Date – Wednesday 14 May 2008 Time – Meet between 7pm and 7.30pm Meeting Place – Yeadon Morrisons (Postcode LS19 7PP) You want to park up in the main carpark where the petrol station is and not the front entrance near the cash machines! If anyone has trouble getting there or need further directions let me know. Depending where you’re coming from I can come and meet you. Photoshoot Locations – Start at Yeadon Tarn (which is only a minutes drive from Morrisons). As its right next to the runway at Leeds/Bradford airport I’ll have a look at flight times to see if we’ll be able to get any of our cars with planes taking off in the background. Then we’ll move onto Nunroyd Park (a couple of minutes drive from the Tarn). There should be scope to get some different looking photos here, inbetween trees and behind old buildings (although its been a while since I’ve been there so hope the buildings haven’t been knocked down!) If anyone fancies a drink and a bit of socialising afterwards then we can move onto Yeadon Stoops for a quick drink. Or we can use the time after the photoshoot to go for a bit of a blast over the moor roads  It would be a good chance to get some video driving action! (weather permitting). My rough time estimates are Meet - 7-7.30pm (we can leave once everyones arrived so the following times may vary) Yeadon Tarn – 7.30-8.15pm Nunroyd Park – 8.20-9pm Plans are flexible so if anyone has any ideas of where to go or what to do then feel free to post up! Obviously we’re limited by light conditions so final plans will have to be decided on the night. (I do have a back up plan of an undercover car park if its raining) Anyone that wants to come get your name down!!! I will pm a contact number for those attending nearer the time.

Well i know i can come along on this date, sounds like it'll be fun!! Although i don't have a clue where that morrisons is your talking about  If DaveA is definitely coming I can meet him at the White rose, or i can find my way to the asda in pudsey? If thats any help? Hope the weather continues to be like the last few days tho!!

Very well organised, wish I was ...  I'll be there and it would be helpful if someone (who knows where they're going) PM's me with thier mobile No and I will return mine just in case the Satnav sends me wayward. Looking at the forecast it's going to be very nice indeed. Look forward to it.

Righto, so everyone knows their meeting places......... House & DaveA meeting at White Rose then driving up to meet at Morrisons (6.30) Lisa & ShinST meeting at Asda then upto Morrisons (6.30ish) Pacman83 (depending how early he is) will go straight to Morrisons (7pm)

Yep no worries, i'll have my camera with me that can record videos.
I will also bring some blue tack (as stupid as it sounds) so that i can mount my camera on the dashboard. That little tray does have its uses! I've done this before and the bluetack holds its well. It does mean i'll be at the back but i'll make sure the front person knows where we're going!!

Hey guys, lovely to meet you all. Big thanks to you all for coming. Chris (House), Dave (DaveA), Paul (ShinST) and Jon (Pacman) who travelled down from Cumbria to meet us (top man ). Oh and thanks for the drink Jon Some of the pics look awesome! I'll start editing them and get them up later. I'll edit the videos too (thanks Jon for having the camera in your car and taking them) cos some of them are huge files!! Thanks again

Just this minute got in the door.  It was a pleasure to meet you guys. Great evening and a 'spirited' drive with Lisa up front. The little convoy looked cool, 2 Silver, 2 Blue & stripes and 1 White & stripes, good stuff. Next time Lisa, I'll make sure I get something to eat along the way, but I must say, those chips I had were great !! I'm off to bed, I'm totally cream crackered and once again, thankyou all for making our first meet a memorable one, top guys.

Wow... Lisa, never knew you were so creative in positioning the cars... I think you're learning It's funny though as you always have a go at me for that  I love the photos, always great shots when you are standing with your car... it's a shame you didn't have a tripod to get yourself in also. My favourite is the 's between the trees... it makes the cars look really cheeky and asif they are playing some sort of game... very very good I hope you lot enjoyed yourself... i'd love to meet you all when I come up later in the summer.

Tell you what, Lisa is SO organised !! She had us dumb lads doing exactly as we were told (I'm used to it, I'm married) But seriously, well done to her. Nice locations, nice company from all and quite spirited driving with me at the rear.  Hang on ! I'm still running the car in ! Or is that, 'I drive like my Dad' ?
