LOL - I'm not a fan of the ST500 but do have to say that £10k is a bit more reasonable than what ford are asking for it!

I don't see why they didn't paint the wheel center caps too?!?

Probably all to do with cost saving. If they painted the centre caps they would have to open another tin of paint and charge another 1k for it. I must admit I like the ST500. Would have been nice if they had tweaked the power output a bit to make it that little bit more special but hey when you can have a Mountune upgrade why should they bother. Car is looking Nice Dal!

I gotta say the carbon effect dash really does add to the car, especially with the full leather.

But at the end of the day everyone will have different opinions on the Mountune kits, those that disagree with it are wrong :P.

Arghhhhhhh - I hate carbon effort!!!!!

For me, this is just the same as sticking on a bake bean can to the back of a fiesta flame and saying you have a ST - its just not real!

Oh - by the way; I work in the composites industry!

it does look better in the flesh.

as with the caps - it looks fine cos it helps bring out the silver on the stripes and bonnet decal.

its all good

its like most things. when the Phase 2 came out the phase 1 owners didnt like it and now you got some phase 1 owners who had said they didnt like style changing there lights front and rear to the new style.

i didnt like the 500 at first the photos made it looked rubbish. but when i picked mine up had it lowered have painted all my grey bits black (2 bits left to finish) it looks mean as hell and certainly gets more attention.

its not too eveyones taste but if i was 21 again i would have white with full stripes = AWESOME!

I really do warm to the Phase 2 now, thats from Phase 1 owner.

The standard black ST doesnt do anything for me and my initial opinions on seeing the st500 in the flesh were that I didnt like it. The black wheels are a bit much for me, along with the red callipers.

However Dal's rather clean example could persuade me.

I just think the performance blue looks the part. I had always liked the imperial blue in the Mk1 Focus, so it really was going to have to be the blue in the ST Fiesta.

But hey at the end of the day everyone has different tastes .
