Hi All,

OK... slight change of plans due to my moving out of the Uni Hall.

The meet will be on Thursday at Port Solent which is inbetween Portsmouth and Southampton.

The best time would be around 8pm to meet up... others can arrive later if they have to but preferably not too late as we shall be having something to eat at the Mexican Resteraunt.

We have buy 1 get one free on the Fajitas and these cost £12-14 each so obviously this is worth while.

Obviously all who know the area will know its a very nice setting for a photoshoot with the yaughts out of the water and also walking around the moorings is very pleasent.

Add your names if you are attending. I look forwards to seeing as many as possible down here as this will unfortunatley be the final meet for me living on the south coast

Never been to one of the meets before - Maybe coz I only picked up my this week!

Ask a silly question - What occurs at these meets anyway?

Will def try and take a drive down from London. Need an excuse to take her for a cruise down the motorway!

Most of the meets we do are a social events. We go to places do a photo shoot and then have a meal or go and do something. It is well worth going to as you will meet a very frendly bunch of people and have a laugh.

Micky has pointed you in the right direction but but your question is a bit like asking how hard the wind is going to blow tomorrow. It may well be windy but its hard to know how much wind there is going to be.

Each meet/event/show is different and involves different things.

This will be a simple evening meet up where we will all get together, have a nice meal and have a good social chat before departing for home later on the night. It would deffinatley be a good chance for you to meet us all and bring your for a spin. We are a good bunch of people (i hope people would agree) and we are very inviting, from the moment you pull up you'll be made to feel welcome so don't worry about being nervous. You'll feel like you have known us for ages!!!

You could always come over to Portsmouth an hour earlier around 7pm and convoy over with us

Will def meet up in Pompey before and join the convoy - a nice straight run down the A3 for me. Just need to make sure I can get the time off work as suppose to be working a late shift but can't see it being too much of a problem.

Micky are you going to this one? I'm thinking maybe I might try and do something mental. Arrive back in the UK on 5th June and then come see you guys? If anyone is going to this and happens to be going through or near to Newbury at the time let me know cos if I can be cheecky and bag a lift that would be quality. I won't have my car by then. Any offers?

I might be able to go to this one. Need to see how much money is in the bank Its very close to renult day but i should be able to let you know by the end of the month if i'm going to make it.

I'm in yateley now so not too far if you wanted a lift.

EDIT: Just worked it out and not going to be able to get to this one. Got over 700 miles to do from that wednesday to the sunday of renult day. And i'm having my hair cut on that thursday i'll be able to see again.

Lol Micky... you should get my sister to do it for you, she has a set of clippers and you could save the cash for petrol

Unfortunatley I'm not going to be anywhere near you Stu so can't offer you a lift im afraid... the only thing you could do is get yourself down on the train... if you booked a ticket now you'd get it for cheap... i'll have a look for you as its an option.

Just for reference would cost £14.90 if you booked now. 19:00 train and a 23:00 train.

Bex and Lisa are coming down on this day but I think they will be passing around 5pm ish? You'd have to make plans to return though which is the tricky thing... i'm completely out of space here.

No worries. I've just had an e-mail from family who have told me they have planned a family meal fro the day I get back anyway so now can't make it. Would have been ok on the train though. Cheers for looking into the prices Scotty. I'll catch up with all sooner or later.

Yeah how I thought id get away with it is still amusing. I wrote an e-mail home and promptly got a reply of " Your not" :-)

Should have my car back by early July so will do my very best to see you sometime after then.

RSOC is on the 17th August at donnington, I should be going to this one even if there isn't a stand.
