Hmmmm, im thinking if i get it done and it go bad 6 months down the line i could go back and say "whats going on?"....... From speaking to a couple of people away from this forum who work in garages they say a repair would be ok, but they have only seen the pics like you all have......

if they are advising in their opinion it can be repaired. draft a note and get them to sign to that affect. You will have 12 months guarantee on the repair, you'd think any defects would come through in that time

Well the guy at the 2nd dealer said that he couldnt comment on any damage behind but did say that it would only be visual, no actual damage that would put me in danger etc...... I think im going to just go for the repair.....

well i got it fixed yesterday and i have to say im well impressed! The guy who did it was a top man! He gave me the quote and as soon as he took it into the garage to show the painter he said "we change them for less damage than that" and the guy (Austin) wanted to keep it as cheap as possible for me as a young lad! Really impressed and would defo get any other work i needed doing done there (by the same guy). Top job! Austin at Benfield Ford Wetherby, top man!
