i have beeen loooking to buy an st for a while now and i just can get why people have 05 reg with 35000 miles and want like 6500++++

why do people set these prices

i like to look at the parkers valuation and they say

Independent Dealer £6,655
Private Good £5,840
Private Poor £4,840
Part Exchange £5,335

so why have people got them at 6500+ :(

They are not that common, so whilst they do depreciate quite quickly in the first year or two, I would have expected £6-6.5k to be more than reasonable for a FSH clean example of an ST. Keep looking though, you'll probably have most luck on ebay to get the best price

I looked for ages mate, I was getting very pi$$ed off with it (i was using my bike to get to work) but in the end I found the exact spec & model I was after, and I got it a couple of grand less that what Dealers were asking.

It will be worth the wait.

well silvers not my favourite but they can look nice, I especially liked the black stripes which ST-One had on his made it a different car. The price is well cheap, if budget is your main goal then get it!!

i dont like silver either, on any car but thats just my opinion! it seems a fair price but are you desperate for the car? can you wait until the right one pops up?
i would personally wait until i found the right one or i would regret taking second best

I think I'll hold onto my :ST rather than loosing £6000 I think. It is good in a way that they are not cheap because they are out of the reach of chavs.

Maybe you can look at 54 plates instead?

Parkers is never accurate but it gives you an idea. At the end of the day, I can advertise my ST at £20,000 but it doesn't mean that it will sell.
