It's an Mk I for sure. The red one is an MK II... Could be a Mexico with the flared arches or an RS1600 with the BDA or even an RS2000 as Dave mentions (the latter more likely)?

The decals say to me it's an RS2000 MKI the MKI Mexico decals runs inline with the door handles and say mexico.



RS1600 and Twink had no decals.

It should have a 2.0 Pinto under the hood, though it's probably got a Cossie

Mk1 1600 Mexico standard engine, crossflow, with twin 45webers and tubular manifold, think the decals are not as per original though.

have seem that Fiesta ST500 on tv and they said its basically an ST and the only difference was the even shorter gear ratio and if its true that car must be well noisy

No gears are same.
The only unique parts are the decals, the calipers, the wheels and the dash bezels.

Order a Black ST and get Dave at DMB to do the decals for you, save a grand!


Yes Kev, have even said that the Bonnett decals are influenced by the MKI RS2000.

They are growing on me a bit now.

Don't like the black wheels though.
