can't drive my car :(

as many of you are aware i have been unable to walk properly for the past week after my operation and i am in a lot of pain tbh , last night i went to the docs and got signed off for two weeks, then str8 after i have 2 weeks holidays booked so ive now got 4 weeks off, wahoo (apart from the constant pain), was thinking about my car and that i cant leave it stood and as my dad is insured on it (was cheaper to put him on it lol) i went out with him in it and he absolutely loved it...compared to my parentss 1.5 c2 diesel automatic (which is quite nice to drive btw, i do like the flappy paddle gear changes  )...we went for a 10-15mile ride to make sure the car was up to temp, test the brakes etc and was all sweet as...he said 'i havn't driven like that in years' and 'if i cud afford to have one'...lol..just thought id share that with you guys...god damn my painful testicular area lol

I remember when Dave had this done and came into work the next day walking like John Wayne who had just rode his horse across the Sahara Desert , he then had a week or two off work .

I Know how you feel had 3 major opp's the last one being a full biliary reconstruction removing 40% of my insides due to a tumour, was in ICU for two weeks and off work 11 months, it was a real crappy time. The good thing was that when i came out of hospital wifey got me a XB360 to keep me occupied.

I know wot you mean, I was popping them like smarties lol and still felt crap. Never mind M8 hopefully as each day passes you will start to feel better.
yeah do feel a bit better today tbh, still hurts a bit but to be expected

i had this done back in sept last year, and i was fine.
i drove back straight after the op once i'd had a cuppa and they checked the dressing. had it done on a saturady morning went back to work on the monday with no prob's.
now i cant drive my ST cause i had knee surgery and can't drive for 2-3 week's untill physio say they are confident i can do an emergancy stop !!

lucy you, its a week from my op and im still hurting and defo wont be able to drive, feeling better than yesterday but still sore

one day i wll go for the snip but not for a few years, not looking forward to it!! i remember when the ligament detatched from mt right leg, that hurt! couldnt drive for a few weeks and had too much time off work trapped a nerve in my neck in 2006, my head was tilted over to the left for about 2 weeks untill it eased off. bad thing was that i was due to be best man at my mates wedding in those 2 weeks. i looked a idiot on the photos!!
