I'm averaging between 55 and 60MPG and I'm not fully run in yet (2,500)
Aparently once they go over 10,000 miles and have their first service Diesels really free up. The re-map is alledged to give at least a 10% MPG improvement as well.

Averaging 48 mpg at the moment. Very impressive as thats all around town driving. I would say my engine is freed up as its coming up to 110,000 miles.
thats a lot of miles micky, very good mpg esp around town

It seems to have gone away now. Just been taking it up to the limiter in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and um 4th once a week
just once a week?? lol, i get a lil beep when i hit the limiter, thats when to change gear i think hehe...or it will be at ford fair and trax
I can't afford the diesel at the moment But because i'm driving like miss daisy the cat gets cloged and the car runs rough.
Will be all change though when i can afford it. My zetec used to make the most power just after the limiter so bounced of it the limiter all the time. And it souned amazing with my exhaust
I have a secret plan for ford fair. Gonna go first and smoke the line so no-one can see

When I first got my st in October it had only done 1400 miles and the mpg was 23 - shocking!! I was only traveling 5 miles a day to work so it didn't go up, I'm now traveling about 40 miles a day and the mpg is currently at 32!! and I do drive fast and a bit mad so I dunno! But I'm happy with it, my old corsa (1.4sri) I got about 7/8 trips to work (40miles a day) and with ST its hard to say cos I've been off work ill for nealry 9 weeks now but it was working about 6/7 trips so not too bad!! I'm so glad I got it!!

don't no in MPG but in liters that about 7L/100km which is very good
Jimmy - l/100k --> mpg = multiply by 5.8.
You're getting 40.8mpg which as you point out isn't bad at all!
