I'd want to know how they can charge full price for a registered car??

There's no 500 badge on the back either.

I'm sorry but the wheels are horrible.

The badges have to be ordered in once the car arrives and the normal ST badge taken off.

You must be joking!
Ford would never pay for that. The ammount dealers charge them for warranty work is appaling.

I know they missed off all the econetic badges from the Focus and it's costing them an arm and a leg to get done.

They've all been knicked at the factory I bet.

Why do they do that pink??? Surely thats just a waste of money to put st badges on then just to take them off??? Why not just put the 500 badges on in the first place..

No... seriously... I'm not joking... They turn up with an ST badge but the dealership have to remember (try not to laugh) to order the ST500 badge to be put on. We have a member who's doing a heck of a trade in the ST500's & he tells us just what has to be done. I think the centre caps have to be ordered in too.

I jest you not.

Thats Ford

Try this dealership working in conjunction with Pumaspeed and selling ST500 182's ... try finding a badge for that! lol

http://www.ford-retailer.com/show-stock.php?id=1218

**triple edit**

Ok they come with the centre caps just not the badges!

have any of you been to ford and seen one of these, the dash looks better, plus its got the sony headunit which looks good. the wheels do look good. the only bad thing is the u on the bonnit, take that off lower it, 182bhp upgard. plus only 500 being made it will always hold its value better than a normal st. id have one.

That's insane that they're doing that. I know that the sums involved might be such that you'd think it was nothing for a company like Ford, but when you consider some of the things that Ford do to save 1 or 2p per car, it's ridiculous that they're throwing money away in that way.

It also claims in the advert that it has ESP where you can easily see that there is no button for it. And a CD mulitchanger, I think not, the Sony unit is a single. Good old dealer advertising.

They do look much better in the flesh as ive said previously somewhere. A lot of cash for what it is though. if you could get a good deal I think it would be worth it.

My local dealer (Chris knows it) had the ST 500 parked outside their showroom this afternoon with a couple looking around it with the salesman.
I parked next to it in my freshly cleaned car and within 10 seconds, they were looking around mine and asking where they can buy mine ?

I must say though, the ST 500's interior has grown on me with those very nice seats.
Skoda did a similar thing with the VRS Fabia run out model. They were all in Performance Blue, had full leather, CD changer, and because they had stopped making the original car, you couldn't have ANY options. So .....
They decided to slap the price as £12,995, not bad really, but for that price you could have had the same car specced up a few months before.

That would be £10,000 on Priviledge then, not bad.

Still would have a normal black one though, those wheels are horrid.

Well back to the car.

Its pretty well un cool. the side stripes look like halfords speacials and the front bonnet U stripe just looks tame. The black wells are ok but they could have been better.
Personally having a normal black one with ST side stripes, the full leather interior and also adding a set of white alloys would be the Dogs bolloxs.
