Mine is one of the earlier cars and I,ve had zero problems,only when cold does it rev a bit high,but fine.As for starting wait for the lights to go out first.

My St has A knocking noise in the clutch when pulling away. Its been back to the dealer 4 times now. Ford technical have had similar problems to mine reported and its rumoured there may be a recall.

I got a nocking noise in the clutch when pulling away or changing gear. only happens when releasing the clutch after selecting the new gear. Is this something 2 worry about? If so then I betta get down to see a dealer!

Is this a knocking noise or more of a squeak similar to a spring? If its the latter I had this and the dealer sorted it by spraying some grease on the clutch.

Its more of a nocking or clunking noise. Definitly not the squeaky clutch. I dont have much technical knowledge of engines or clutches!
