it has a tendency to go off over nothing, including when my brother pressed his unlock button for his corsa. having it louder would merely annoy more people.

The ST may be difficult to steal with the standard fit security but it doesn't stop some chave having your front bumper or spoiler away. The alarm is just too quiet and it doesn't go off unless you enter the car!

To be honest, I'd rather have my car nicked than parts stolen from it - the insurance would pay out, the gap would cover the finance and a new car would be on the drive in no time.....
