Just been reading this wk's Auto express and i'm quite impressed. Got the new KA and the new fiesta Zetec S. Both look pretty tasty. Just can't wait for the new ST fiesta to be released! Whats everyone's thoughts?

I like the look of the KA but its only a Auto Express photoshop so could be totally wrong ... the new Fez is growing on me and I like the ZS backend .... wonder if they will do a TDi like the current ZS putting it in the £35 VED rate?

The Mk6 Fiesta st grew in size & became a Mk3 Mondeo st it now it's shrinking to a Mk3.5 Focus ST3

With the flavour of current 'warm/hot' hatches and their massive popularity at the moment, whatever Ford release will no doubt be really smart.

I think the Ford KA doesnt look too bad...

The new fiesta is something i am not hugely decided on...i think the zetec-s version does look good especially the rear....cant wait to see an ST version though if this zetec-s is anything to go by...hopefully the ST version will sell it to me!

I'd quite fancy the new Ka ST if it looks like that. It's small, about as quick as the current Fiesta ST and cheaper to tax, insure and run. The 1.4 turbo engine might be a bit short of torque though.
My second choice could be the all-new Fiesta Zetec S. A bit slower, but a very nice car.

That back end would look realy nice with a diffuser & twin exhausts like the new focus . The front is slowly growing on me as I see it every day on the new mondeo's & foci. My problem is that the sides of the new fiesta look like they belong to a different car - they are too plain and uninteresting in comparison. Our current also has plain sides but that fits in well with the less elaborate front & rear.

Maybe its just me...

The KA ST does look fine, if it actually ends up looking like that. Ford will do one, as the sport KA is popular and they'd definitely want a replacement.

The new Fiesta I'm still undecided on. It certainly looks newer and fits in with the kinetic designs of the newer Ford's, but I just think that maybe they have lost some of the sharp lines of the current one, making it all mk4 and wobbly again. Maybe it will grow on me. I should have taken the chance to see it at the motorshow, but I didn't get to as I spent over an hour on the Ford stand and all of that time was looking at the Focus RS.

Regarding a Z-S TDi I'd be surprised if Ford don't make one, as I'm sure the current one must sell loads.

That would mean a minimum power output of 135bhp, and given the ST’s potential low kerbweight, buyers can expect a 0-60mph time of less than eight seconds and a top speed in the region of 125mph. While the ST will undoubtedly be fast, it will also be frugal, with combined economy approaching 50mpg and CO2 emissions of around 150g/km.

Might convince my mom to get one of these lol... or maybe not.

Remember this is a KA we are looking at not the new Fiesta .

I think they have done a good job of keeping the car small and looking nice... I don't believe a diffuser or double exhausts should be added... this would cost too much for and also look a little silly on such a small and low powered car... leave that for the Focus

I think a nice sporty bumper with a reasonably sized stainless exhaust and some beefy alloys would look great. Just have to wait and see.

As Chris said, i didn't look at the new KA or even the new Fiesta properly due to over the Focus half the day... It's beautiful though!!!

Dont really like them that much at the moment, but sayin that most cars when the first come i out i didnt like, new civics, corsa, but they've grown on me.

Hopefully they do a new Fiesta ST, more mean looking tho
