My cleaning regime -
1) Dress tyres with Tyre slik (before anything else as the Silicone can cover the wheels and even some panels)
2) Wash the wheels with Zip Wax and rinse off.
3) Wash the car with Auto Glymm conditioner. Rinse off.
4) Chamoix leather the entire car.
5) I use a seperate leather for the inside of the doors etc. Give the doors and wipers a slam/shake to get rid of excess water.
6) Use Auto Glymm tar remover on the lower portion of the car (with a white car, this is done more often ) 7) Wax the car with Auto Glymm Super resin polish.
8) After waxing, use Auto Glymm Gloss guard (gold label) it's a very easy application and works brilliant with the wax.
9) I've used Simoniz black renovator on all the black bits (mirror housings, door rubbers etc)
10) I used Auto Glymm Fast glass for the windows, but NOT on the outside of the Windscreen. I do the outside of the Windscreen with a Water/Vinegar solution and it stops squeaks and works well. Also, clean the wiper rubbers with this.
11) I use a Chamiox for the interior as well. I have never found anything so quick and it retains the original finish of the plastics.
12) Finally, I hoover the car.
Hope that helps.
I gather not everyone does this to their car when they are cleaning it????
In addition to the above, I clean the interior with a leather cleaner I obtained from Jaguar and then rub moisturiser into it to keep it lovely and soft.
The only difference to the above is that I use Autoglym deep gloss shine instead of Super resin polish and clean the rubbers, sunroof surround etc with bumper gel.
I would presume this usually takes around 5 hours!
